Self-paced AI Educator Course

I am creating a self-paced course for educators to take. They will be learning about AI and then able to choose from 12 AI tools that can be used in Education. What other topics should be included? AI Literacy? Prompt creator?

AI ethics is a significant concern, including hallucinations, biased data, privacy, and data sovereignty.

I created and teach a similar course. I break the course into three parts: AI Literacy, AI Curriculum Integration, and AI Practical Tools for Teachers. Their final project asks them to choose one tool or aspect of AI and conduct an in-depth analysis of it, including its practical use.

Love this, it’s really needed. I’d include AI literacy, but keep it practical. Help teachers understand what AI actually does and where it goes wrong. A prompt creator is a great idea too, especially if it’s hands-on. That’s where things usually click.I’d also add, how it looks in the classroom, not just tool demos.
