What Have You Stopped Giving?

What is one task you’ve stopped giving because AI made it meaningless?For me, it’s the classic “write a paragraph on…” type of homework. I realised very quickly that students could generate something decent without really thinking, and more importantly, without really engaging. So I’ve moved away from that. Now I’m more likely to ask them to respond, react, record something, or bring an idea to class and use it there. Same skill, different approach. More thinking, more ownership.Curious what others have stopped giving.

I completely agree!We have moved to more analysis or critical thinking questions for students where they have to apply what they have learnt in various situations.
