We have a school using this tool to identify whether a student has used AI to complete an assessment/assignment. Currently it’s blocked in my LA. Are there any other decent tools that could do the same thing?

My simple advice Amanda is don't bother. It's a waste of teachers' time and erodes trust. What IS required are robust assessment procedures to maintain academic integrity, and for pupils to clearly understand the value of the assessment.See my substack article here

Thanks for replying. As a local authority we haven’t approved any of these types of tools but we have some colleagues keen to use them. My concern is exactly the point you made about them not be accurate 🤔 I did wonder about grammarly 🤔
