SLT AI — AI Tool for Education

SLT AI is an AI platform built exclusively for senior leaders. It provides over 190 structured tools covering school improvement, governance, personnel management, safeguarding, SEND, pupil support, communications, and day-to-day leadership tasks. Every output is personalised to the individual school. Leaders enter their school context, values, priorities, and inspection outcomes, and every response is tailored to their setting. This is not generic AI — no two schools get the same output. The platform is trained on a knowledge base of over 120 current documents including DfE statutory guidance, Ofsted inspection frameworks and subject research reviews, EEF guidance reports, KCSIE, NPQ frameworks, and key education legislation. This knowledge base is updated as soon as new guidance is published — for example, the DfE's updated Reasonable Force guidance, which comes into force in April 2026, is already built in. Leaders get responses grounded in current policy, not whatever a search engine returns. The platform includes a free AI chat grounded in the same knowledge base, as well as over 190 structured tools with guided inputs — so leaders can either ask their own questions or use ready-made tools designed around how school leaders actually work. The platform started as a single chat tool built by a former headteacher, and has grown into 190+ tools largely through feature requests and feedback from serving school leaders during training sessions and daily use. 13,300 school leaders are registered on the platform. SLT AI is fully GDPR compliant and holds Cyber Essentials certification.
